As of January 2018, auctionVcommerce integrated a complete customer service interface at cfaa.com, which enables dealers and consignors the ability to expedite requests directly to any auction department. The tool was created to provide customers with a digital option for initiating auction services, while avoiding counter lines, hold messages, and limited business hours.
Within each auction department, live monitors will display customer submissions, populated in real time, and prioritized by estimated response time. The response time will default to a 24-hour window, but customers can opt to override this preset for items that require immediate attention. The live monitor was designed to strengthen management’s ability to monitor workflow, and reinforce accountability.
